Echoes Amigst Whisperers

The series of ceramic and wax sculptures “Echoes Amidst Whispers” revolves around the central figures of angels across Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, as these faiths share a common celestial pantheon. I mixed and borrowed from these religious characters different characteristics, shining light on forgotten or unknown aspects of their narratives and reshaping them through my own lens. Together these characters create another religious narrative questioning norms of representation and choices of depiction.
