Artwork for graphic designer Theresa Scherrer. For her master’s thesis at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences, together with the Association of Vienna Youth Centers (Bos5), Theresa Scherrer created a platform where the viennese youth could express their opinion freely. Scherrer used the simple but brillant idea of the pizza box as a medium with the lid as a place for messages, to spread these opinions throughout the city. With the young Viennese students, she created more than 50 designs from August to December 2020. Each of them represented a personal attitude, a story, or an appeal to society. She also asked different designers and artists (myself included) to illustrate some of these “life advices”. The results of this collaboration were silkscreened on pizza boxes and, in cooperation with surrounding pizzerias, will be distributed throughout Vienna. All the pizza boxes and interview conductes were showed during an exhibition at the independant art space in Vienna Weloveschool
