The work explores the boundaries between image and object and uses different ways of storytelling. It is inspired by medieval tapestries, dropped capital and ornamentation where the frame and the “holder” become as important as the subject being held. Sculpture and drawing are combined into one element: in “Légendes de La Citrouille”, the character is holding a book where the drawn scene is as important as himself. The illustration is becoming the key for understanding the link between the three sculptures.
